Maybe so, but I would suspect the Pushbutton...

Maybe so, but I would suspect the Pushbutton Controller first in this situation. The reason being that I have read more reports of its cracked solder joints.

A very likely cause are the solder joints where the boards connect. They are arranged in an "H" pattern and very often the solder develops cracks where the boards meet. Most definitely use a pencil...
