Tirebiter makes a good point. You could phone a starter/alternator repair service and find out what they would charge to install the new solenoid you supply or get a price also if they were to supply...

Starter keeps cranking.

Probably best to change starter solenoid as it is sticking on apparently. Either sticking with heat or contacts are trying to weld themselves together I imagine. If not changed good chance of...
