I want to sincerely thank Jim H and M.B.Doc for your on-the-money troubleshooting. I replaced the alternator assembly and the problem went away. I look forward to join the Diesel discussion first...

Driving along the ABS light came on. Got home turned-off car then tried to start again. With the key turned to where the glow plugs light came on, I noticed that no other warning indicator lights...
