it was parked in the garage the other day while i was replacing the alternator, and the fan belt. long 2 days i'll tell u that, i'd rather swap an engine in the benz then those 2 things again....

i found this under my 82 300D turbo it is 1 1/4 inches wide(couldn't find a metric ruler) and about 5/16 of an inch tall. it appears to be a bushing of some type. it is all metal. i could be wrong...
