True, you can pressure test with moist compressed air, dry the system and replace the filter/dryer, hope you didn't create a leak, vacuum and charge.

Your example is moot however, it is my guess...

The concern I have with this is contamination. Two enemies of your system are oxygen, and moisture. Most compressed air sources (especially those gas station ones) pass gobs of moisture, and oxygen...
