On my 300SD.. the line goes from the banjo bolt to this little switch.. then to the ALDA.

After my oil change, and tank drain.. all seems fine with the turbo. I got about 14 to 15...

Your right.. there is a shield of sorts. Couldnt get enough muscle on a pair of channel locks.

I borrowed (after leaving a 20 dollar bill) a socket. Trouble was.. sockets that big are 3/4 drive....

I'm not sure what this part does. It has a line from the banjo bolt. It also has a line to the ALDA. There seems to be some sort of electronic switch attached between.

My turbo seemed to work...
