Yesterday we had a good rainfall the wipers on intermittent worked fine but as soon as the windshield got dryer...

Afternoon all
I have a 1986 W 126
When the wipers are turned on (intermittent) they will suddenly stop at any place on the windshield.After the cycle runs out they restart and stop again....

But...
