Mine seem to have the wires from the bottom of the bulb attached to the electrical contact on the outside of the socket. When I pull the bulb it breaks the wires, :eek: consequently I can't put...

I popped one yesterday with a pair of pliers. I'll try again with a gentler touch. What should I expect, they have only been in there 20 years. :eek:

How do you remove the idiot lights from their sockets?

I am needing to replace the "brake" and "washer fluid" indicator lights. I got the instrument cluster out and can unplug the bulb from the board, but how do you get the old bulb out of the plastic...
