It could be the case, are the reports saying it is for the older style flat lifters or the roller lifters that should be in that year motor. But anycase if it is the lifter, you might try some sort...

Actually they only came in a 2 bolt main set up. But there was enough meat in the webbing to add in four bolt main caps.
