when I pry out the plastic piece with the wire on it will I be able to put that same plastic piece into the 1991 lock cylinder I will be putting back in thanks Peter

I tried this above procedure and there was a white wire attached to the cylinder which would not allow me to remove it does anybody know what to do in this case thanks
