im leaning toward just re-doing my firewall with the damplifier pro and going from there. while its apart i will do the top of trans tunnel as well. i bet that is a big noise...

Pulled my evaporator box and now Im staring at some crumbling 25 year old sound insulation. The main spot where its cracking is under where the evap box sat.
