The belt on the PS pump was plenty tight to spin a good motor, I
am just hoping against evidence that it is a simple fix. I really hate to see
a car like this go.Any one interested in it? The guys...

Would it be possible for the starter to jam in...

Would it be possible for the starter to jam in there and
keep the motor from turning?

The only other thing I can come up with is a bad oil pump.

I went to look an SD tonite, build date 7/83
224k on the clock
clean,rust free, and appears well maintained.
Car was donated, but does not run so donation gave
car for scrap to towing company= no...
