Unless C280 is significantly different from C220 the MAF should be located right in front of you when you open the hood and the part comes off with 2...

if CEL comes on then it might be a whole other...

if CEL comes on then it might be a whole other issue than OVP....

the thing about OVP is that sometimes the CEL is not powered and ECU gets bad voltage and acts erratically causing stalls.

your OVP sounds really fishy to me. It just stumbles under 500rev, and u can keep the engine kind of running by putting it in N gear and put your right foot down to keep it above 500 rev right?
