Maybe it puts out such low HPs because it's very, very low-revving, and just has a LOT of torque?

Anyone know about the OM315 Engine?

I'm looking at getting a vehicle that has an OM315 installed. Supposedly it's 3.6L, 4 cylinder, 80hps. It's a 1973 508D van.

Any comments about the reliability, how easy (or impossible) parts are...
