Thanks, I thought that seam looked liked it had some sort of sealer on it from underneath. Cars are 1982, BTW, and I do have a heat gun as well as an air chisel. The 300 fender is tan so I'll paint...

On my 240TD the passenger side front fender is rusted out around the turn signal. There is a 300TD close by that is being parted out and the fender is rust free. They are the same year, will they...
