I would do whatever is cheaper, call them...

I would do whatever is cheaper, call them tomorrow and ask. Let me know, i might need them in the future.

I doubt replacing the bearings would be a fun job for a average guy, no pun intended.

Yes the bearings locked up, its to be expected after so many years.

Yes most rebuilt alternators come without pulleys, I had to re-use my pulley when I replaced my alternator.
