In addition I would say that when using taps and T Wrenches ( the best and safest procedure ) that only end of finger pressure...

True that it is not accurate. But that is ok since after a certain amount of torque the most important thing is that they are relatively EVEN... that all the bolts share the load as best as can be...

Rust or burrs changes the torque from being shared equally by all the threads engaged.... to random and unequal pressures....
