The tranny was rebult about 80k ago and it does...

The tranny was rebult about 80k ago and it does not leak a drop. Will leave it allone. Might consider changing out the real crank seal while it is out. The question I have is which is easier, pulling...

I was thinking of removing the motor mounts and tranny mount then lower the engine allowing better access to the bell housing bolts.

ANy additional suggestions would be helpful.

I am planning on swapping the engine in my 87 300TD with one with lower millage and better performance. Mine burns oil, has lack of power and is tired.
