I will have to measure the holes, but you can put pretty large speakers in the rear shelf. I believe I have 6.5 in my euro....someone cut up the shelf to add them....

I was thinking that same...

Had some not so wanted car trouble, so I got busy for a few days....It looks like the extra dash I have, has had the holes enlarged to fit larger speakers....here's a pic of the extra dash large...

Wish you were closer, I would exchange the one I have with cut outs for yours that doesn't have cut outs...These shelves are not easy to ship...
