I did take the check valve out and the was now...

I did take the check valve out and the was now air flow in our out I did get it to open but not close again. So I need a new check valve. But with the check valve in and stuck open my vacuum gauge...

Ok I get it now.
At least 8.039 PSI

I have a 1980 300SD om617.950 I have installed it into a 1985 4runner and I fell the vacuum pump is not producing adequate vacuum. I put my finger over the hose and I can barley fell a pull/draw ?...
