My M110 was running ragged, pulled the plugs and found #1 and #2 are wet with oil, not fouled, wet. First thought was valve stem seals so ran a compression check, #1 is 152# and #2 is 154#. Backed...

Transmission setup dimensions.

For a 717.000, 5-spd. Same dimensions as shown below for a 717.400 but for the .000. Diagram was taken from a Haynes, W123 manual and is for the .400
Should be one for the .000 in the Haynes manual...

I need to replace the front, main, oil seal on my M110. Manual says to use
sealing compound part # 0019892920 on the new seal. Anyone know of a locally available, same as, product?? Thanks.

Hadn't noticed that the ECU was failing and the A/F ratio was way rich. Consequently the oil is almost black from unburned carbon particles. Anybody have a favorite recipe for flushing out oil pan...

Took your info and redid the vent to match the original. Plastic tubing is from the original IAC so should be fine. Thanks again.

M104 question.

Did I read correctly on here that the M120 is basically 2, M104's, tied together?? Just curious, there are a bunch of Turbo manifolds with Turbos on e-bay for the M120, both left and right...

Photo 1 shows that the original inlet for the valve cover vent was placed befor the throttle plate on the throttle body. Photo 2 shows the setup I would like to use,

That's the plan, my 75 is too early to have one and I want it in place befor going Turbo. Any photo's of the sensor location on the M103/104 would be much appreciated or any tips as to where to place...
