For Sale: Guage Cluster For W126

I sold the 500SEL but forgot about the guage cluster: It is complete except for the temp display. It will fit, I believe, all 126's.

The speedo says 123,000.

She has 265,000 on her, mostly highway. I just spent $3,000 to rebuild the top end and she runs great...could probably use a O2 sensor,...

Replacing a sliding jaw in 500SEL

Does anyone have any tips on replacing the window regulator sliding jaw on the rear door of an '85 500SEL?

I have the door panel off and I need to know how to remove and replace the jaw.

I am having to part with my baby...it's a 1985 500SEL, Diamond Blue w/ blue leather. She has 255,000 miles but she runs like a dream. the only thing that I know does not work is the cruise control....

It is sort of Mercedes' answer to U-joints. Look on either end of the driveshaft and you can tell if the material is degraded or missing.

Without looking at the diagram in the book.... I just noticed today that the rear passenger door lock was not working with all of the others. Could it be that this door is the last one on the vacuum...

Once you get the wire off of the sending unit, check the wire as well. My 500 had the same problem and it was not the sending unit but the connector had broken.
