This is strange. Put euro headlights awhile back, but multiple rock chips finally destroyed the lenses.
Luckily I kept the old stock headlights (with the yellow fogs) and re-installed...

My 126 makes the same gurgling noise when I increase the temp. I am assuming its a slow-opening monovalve allowing coolant into the heater core. Still works fine though.

Howdy..
Had the radiator flushed at the local chain radiator shop (Walt's).
Now, when the "EC" button is selected, the heat is blasting. AC still works fine.
Any correlation?
