Frank - thank you for the correction. I have always thought the K2, B2, etc were referred to as valves. In any event this gives some light upon what might have failed during problematic shifts.

What bothers me is all the black overspray. Almost without doubt they were trying to hide problem areas.

I am not sure what pumping up the line with the Mityvac will accomplish. The system is designed to bleed vac when you accelerate and at WOT all the vac has bled off to give you a smooth upshift.
