Thank you for the responses. I'll look into taking the alda completely off, but I am going to guess that it wont be my cup of tea. What do you think about taking it off?

I double checked and there is no way that the module will fit in without moving the ALDA ever so slightly. I probably have to move it 1/8". I am using a module from a w123. My car is a w116. ...

Interesting. I will have to look at it again. i do have the allen bolts, but I dont think that it is going to slip underneath the ALDA. Let me check again.
