Run some used engine oil through the fuel system....
Run some used engine oil through the fuel system. After that, you won't complain about the smell of regular Diesel exhaust anymore.

That's not good. My grey 300SD had a whining sound in park or neutral for a few years before 4th went completely out. I swapped in a good, used transmission and it does not have that sound anymore....
