Good morning !

My 86' 300E is vibrating badly 50-65 mph but only for the first few miles on th e highway. If I go faster for a few miles , then I can drive it at 60 just fine.

Pulling the connector should do nothing..... Switch is either good or bad. Same with the fans. Can you disconnect the fans from the harness plug and hot wire them....

I think I've got exactly the same leak on my 86'. Heck, maybe I should do the valve seals also- 95k miles. Lot easier on my time than a valve job.
