New to forum, couple of 300sd questions.

Hi everybody. This is my first post as you can see, but I have been searching the threads for about a week and have been amazed at everything you all know about diesels, and diesel performance. I have a couple of questions I wanted to see if you all could help me with. First off, I have the Wade Performance stage 2 intake on my 300sd. I installed everything but some strange things are happening now. At about 2500rpm all the way to about 4200rpm I hear this strange high pitched whining noise coming from the turbo, it increases with throttle position and around 2500rpm the noise goes away again. Any clue as to what that could be?? Also I have a turbo xs boost controller and an autometer boost gauge installed but can't get the gauge to read boost?? The gauge reads good vacuum, but we can never it get it to read a boost. I read an article stating that sometimes a valve in the wastegate can get stuck open preventing boost from builiding up. I wanted to know if there was anyway to overide the internal wastegate or to stop this without having to open up the turbo. I read on this site I can plug the arv, but would this solve my wastegate problem. More questions to come soon, thanks in advance!!! Oh yeah, were do you get the braided vacuum lines from?
