What is this "winter" you speak of? Diesel gelling?? Road salting?!? Block heaters?!?! I've never heard of such crazy terms...

Then again I do live in Florida!

What?

Winter? Are you mad? The temperature has been a hellish 115 and up for most of the last few weeks. I look forward to perfect shirtsleeve temperatures for the nex six months or so. Of course I do have the advantage of living in Phoenix AZ

Good, for once I’m not alone in one of these threads – winter means better fuel mileage with the AC not running as much…

Right, winter.... that time when it rains non-stop. Why in god's name would there be salt on the road? Winter means replacing the wiper blades and to quit worrying about the lack of AC. This is all still very academic as we won't see frost until November.....

You know I was just thinking about this today. As much as I hate to admit it September is right around the corner, and the weather will go downhill from their.

I think next week I will start getting my SD in shape. Then I need to clean out the garage so I can tuck my SDL away for the cold months.

That may be so but before winter is fall. There is nothing like ripping along the winding paved road that parallels the Missouri river bottoms, enjoying the fall colors with the sunroof wide open, and a pretty woman by your side. I can't wait.

C'mon Winter!

It will be a nice break from these interminable "My car is running hot" threads... I've only been here a short time and I'm already sick of them.

Its a small price to pay tho for such a fine forum.
