14 "Reported Posts from Shop Forum" is enough

BHD is banned. Not so much because of the problems he creates, but today alone, 14 reported posts, and guess what? 3/4 of them from HIM of all people, the guy causing all the problems to begin with. Talk about staying out of the kitchen if you can't stand the heat! He's the guy causing all the heat to begin with! Hell with it, I ain't standing behind him anymore.

I was not aware of this.

You can ignore my PM now.

Ahhhh... feels good to not have to use the ignore feature anymore. All I care about is where else can you post about Tankless Hot Water Heaters AND learn about the Benz that I should be spending more time working on?

I'm just happy the OD stays open. Soooo many questions, and this place is the best!

I'll have you know I got more information on the Tankless Heater question HERE than I got on home improvement & plumbing forums.

Rock on!

Pete

P.S. And seriously, thanks for keeping OD open. I think you can understand why it really is something that is important to me.

If he was bothering you thats fine because its not beyond "the gang" to do a mass reporting because they don't like someone.

I don't know who "the gang" is but if I read Gilly's post right BHD was responsible for 3/4 of the 14 reported post.

I never reported any of his post but 26 post a day of the same drivel is a bit of a waste of bandwidth.

Maybe donate it to your local EMS? Just a thought. Nice tax write-off.

I guess I'm born to be a contrarian.

Bone was a broken record, but usually he had a sense of humor about it.

I wonder if you (Gilly) might consider invoking the temporary ban you'd mentioned that you'd consider. I know that lots of people, especially in the Diesel Forum really value his technical advice. Banning him here deprives them of a great source of guidance.

Perhaps we can all use this banning as a warning not to go whining to Gilly (or Bill or...) whenever we get our feelings hurt. I know it's hard to do (guilty!), but sometimes just shutting-up and going away for a while is probably a better plan than complaining to the guy who moderates this thing and doesn't get a damn thing for it except grief.

Anyway Gilly, I hope you'll consider a temporary ban. I suspect even his most ardent critics don't really want him gone for good, especially if they'll take a moment and consider the great benefit he has provided on other forums.

If you read this thread top to bottom its fairly easy to see who the real perp is.

Oh no, has the yin and yang of this forum been disturbed?

Who will controvert the liberal slant that seems to be all pervasive now?

We simply must have someone to represent the neanderthalic, republican viewpoint so us liberals don't get too uppity.

I hadn't read that, but now I understand.

Typical pattern.
