Sounds like a great time, too bad I'm on the other coast... I've always wanted to see the "goose" in person.

Sadly, the date is a bit close to another GTG I've already vowed to attend in Yellowstone. I don't know if I can do both of them. I'll look in to it.

I'm putting this on my calendar. I've always wanted to see the Goose, and combining that with an MB oil-burner GTG makes for an event I won't want to miss...

There should be an East Coast meet.

Sounds great! Including myself I'll have two, maybe three people. Looking forward to another fantastic NW meet.

My dad's going to go shopping for an E320 CDI with me over spring break to replace his Volvo which needs $3k of work, so if all goes well I MIGHT be able to drive that down . Because everyone has already had enough of my 124

I'm in as long as I'm in town that weekend. Might even get the family to participate (my daughter loves that place).

Pity we couldn't have a how-many-diesel-MBs-would-fit-in-the-goose-without-a-scratch contest or something I mean, we could, but how would we know the right answer? Gotta count the jelly beans at some point.

Yeah, we could figure it out. We'd need all the dimensions of a 240D or 300D (a sedan would be about average cubic-feet-wise when you figure coupes are less and wagons are more) then get the interior dimensions of the Goose and pencil it all out.

I'd be up for doing the math if I had the dimensions...

I demand pictures of the diesels and the aircraft, since I'm not going to be able to make it. Sigh... That's twice now.

Maybe it could be a door prize or something.

That's why I posted it so early...so everybody could keep their schedules open.

I went and scoped out the location last weekend. There will definitely be a door prize for how many W123s could be loaded on to the spruce goose.
