Don't mind this post, but it says there is a 15th page to this thread, but everytime I click it I go to the 14th page. Just wanted to see if posting would bring me to the 15th page or not.

GO PEACH PARTS!

Also, I am on the 107th page for most amount of posts! >_< Hahhaa. But, that's 107/1478 pages so...not TOOOOOOOOOO bad. Haha.

Webmaster,

I see the 'active members' statistic dropping quite fiercely. Does this have anything to do with the domain name change?

The site took a loss of 7% last quarter for this statistic.

Wow these figures are crazy! When I joined I was 26 and married 1 yr. I bought my first home the month I joined in 1999! I had an 84 300dt that I bought off a retired delta pilot. He bought it new. I love pilots cars. So well kept. My wife had a new Volvo s70 (Sorry I was just getting diesel fever). We were having the time of our lives!

Does anyone remember Mercedesshop.com lol. Who remember Donnie and a Bill starting that beautiful new shop. What was it called? Mbautowerks? Maybe?

Anyway I am 44 today and live in my 4th house and my bride has stuck with me for 18yrs. I have a 15 yr old daughter and a 10 yr old son. Crazy how time flies

Funny thing I don't think I have even hit 1000 posts. I people watch and search for info more than anything. Anyway just realized how long it has been and felt like posting. I may even start a new thread. Lol. Have a good day all!

I never did make it to their new shop up there in GA.
Heard it was pretty snazzy too.

Doesn't seem like it was that long ago, but when I try to remember what I did back then... Hmmm. I know it all started with a '83 300D. Next thing I had a 280 /8 a 420SEL, and eventually an E420. The E420 is what led to my eventual disappointment with MB - yep...wiring harness, and their American style deny deny deny..we know nothing about that, first we've heard of it. That is when I knew that they were no longer a pure German Car company, but had gotten poisoned by Chrysler.
I still drive a German Diesel, but it is a VW.
Every now and then, I get a hankering for another W123...and if the right one come along, I might just go for it...just to relive the "good ole days".

Glad to still be here

I'm in Soperton now. I just recently got rid of the 211 wagon and picked up a GLK350. I've got a new shop and am offering service in this area. Good, used 211s are a steal if you ask me.

Tobacco man? Don't remember that one.
