Lately MercedesShop has been going crazy! We're closing in on 2,700 registered members and the volume on our site is hitting new records just about every week.

Now if we can just get more people to buy parts from PartsShop, maybe we can afford to move MercedesShop to a dedicated server. By the way...Thank you, Jim, for your parts order tonight!

I've noticed something though. Its pretty much the same guy's posting all the time. Donald, Michael, Noah, Engatawork, JCE, Akry,Larry, Ashman Roas etc, etc. Its like were all a close nit family,

We'll be a 5,000 same time next year. Maybe even More
Word should be spread to all the local dealers, so traffic can be increased to Mercedesshop.com

Capt Alex,

I feel the same way hehe. Funny thing is, every free moment I have I spend in here reading just about.

This site is great brain food for a person like me who is technically mided. I have always been able to use my brain mechanically.

I tell every mercedes owner I meet when out on the job, about this site. Hopefully some of them have been coming here. I love this place, and am so glad that I was told about it by AKRY. Without him, I would have never found the Ultimate Mercedes Benz Site on the web.

I love this place. I have learned so much. It's also nice talking with people who actually have a CLUE what you are talking about.

Biological systems tend to reproduce exponentially (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, etc.) until they run out of habitat or resources needed for growth. Look for the membership to increase exponentially until MShop runs out of Bandwidth or server capacity! It looks more like 2800 by Jan 9th, and over 2900 by the end of the month. At this rate by December you will need a Sun Enterprise system or Linux Beowulf cluster to handle the traffic!

Earlier than predicted

Membership hit 2800 with benzat's joining us.

It is getting hard to keep track of who's who nowadays, guess I'll have to draw up a score card, .

Just dawned on me, that at this rate, MercedesShop may have to become it's own ISP to handle the numbers.

Jim:

The site avg'd 8 new members/day over the last 8 days, and the rate is going up. 2970 - 3020 by Feb 1 at this rate! BTW, what did you ever do about a digi camera?
