What dos this part fit?

Hello!

I have the opportunity to buy some Knecht filters, Knecht number EL-476. They look alot like the filters in my '71 280SE, but I am not sure if they fit. A possible part number is 000 094 98 04. I tried the fastlane approach, and the numbers were all correct, except for one. I was wondering if perhaps it is merely an updated number or not. The boxes appear be quite old, so I am not discounting that there may have been an update, and that these may actually fit. Does this number EL-476 ring a bell with anybody?

The Knecht EL 476 is the same as a 000 094 98 04.
That filter was used in the M121.940 engine. That engine was found in the 1965-68 Model 200.

I can't find anyone who makes a filter that crosses to this so I doubt it is correct for your car.

Wow Bill! That was quick indeed!
I should have posted this question days ago, instead of searching the web to no avail. Well, I ended up buying one a few days ago, so if you or anybody else knows of someone that has a 65-68 200, boy do I have a deal for you!
