I'm about to drive my 89 190E 2.6 from Tucson over to California and was wondering if anyone makes anykind of "Bug Guard" to attach to the front end of my 190 to prevent all the road nicks! Hey it's Black Pearl and original paint!! Yeah, I know it probably won't be a thing of beauty but it will save me having to buy another bottle of touch up. I've never seen one for a Benz but maybe someone can help me out? Thanks

Performance (1-800-243-1220) carries Colgan "Bras" for 124's at $95, maybe for 190's as well? I would put a fresh couple of coats of wax and final inspection on the areas where a bra touches the paint, as I have heard several people complain of paint abrasion from the wind flapping the bra around over time.

Yep, JCE's got it right -- Performance Products (1-800-243-1220) has a Colgan bra for our 190E/Ds Part Number 6004 @ $94.95.

JCE and Bri.....Thanks for the info on the Colgan Bras. I too, have heard many a tale about the "horrors" of bras.....ie; they cause paint abrasions-they somehow cause the paint to change color-they don't fit right-they flop around at anything over 60mph! So..here's a question for our fellow MB drivers. Do you have a bra (on your car) and if so, does it give you any of the above problems? Colgan is good but are there others? Thanks
