New search for finding info, diy's, etc. with Google
 

Hi everyone,

I don't need to tell you that the knowledge shared on these boards and web pages is an amazing resource. To make it easier for people to find it, I've created a search engine that uses Google to search across forums and websites. Please give it a try at:

Hopefully this will be a great resource for quickly finding DIY's and such, and to help answer questions like, "which site did I see that on?" without having to perform a different search one-by-one on several different sites.

Note that Google does not index every post but I have set this up with a large number of sites so the coverage is quite broad.

Hope you like it! I'm working to optimize and enhance it, and Google is working to make improvements as well. I think it is quite useful now, and will only get better over time.

It looks like a great "Search" feature. I am always interested in one that will pull things in better. I hope others will use it also.
