"CONTI" Multi Rib Belt (Serpentine Belt)

Is the brand name "CONTI" same as "CONTITECH"? Thanks.

I believe "Conti" is an abbreviation for the Continental Tire & Rubber Co.

Michael is correct. Continental is an OE supplier to Mercedes for tires and various rubber parts such as hoses.

Thanks for the reply. By searching through CONTITECH'S WEBSITE, I conclude that CONTITECH is part of Continental group. Now I have a peace in mind by knowing that the belt put on by an independent shop on my car is an OE part, same as the one sold here in the FASTLANE. Thanks.
