Automatic Resize of Images

Hello everyone,

I have a suggestion that I noticed was implemented on another mb board and it made it real nice for browsing, so I thought I'd mention it here: automatically resize images so that they fit in the standard width post and can be clicked to open a new window that would display them at full size.

I did some basic googling and found a hack...

Just a thought, I know I'd appreciate it. I dont always like having to resize my pics all the time and from time to time I forget to do so... Now, I just post direct links.

That's a very old hack from 2004. It's doubtful it would function correctly on the version of VB we use.

Ah, right. I didnt even notice the date.

Still, there might be somthing newer out there...

The other forum is at least vBulletin 3.6 or better. (judging by the fact that their running vBadvanced that requires 3.6+)

Just a thought...

I host a Vbulletin forum... hacks and mods are a pain in the derriere to implement and if you need help from Jelsoft they wont offer support because you'll have modified the software, It would be easier to leave it alone and on the random occurrence that a huge pic pops up to ask the person to resisze it though photobucket or picasa
