I listed valve wrenches for sale over the weekend of September 25 2010. I was accepting offers / trades explicitly in the thread.

A couple of members complained, but there is nothing in the rules / guidelines that prohibits this behavior.

Where has this thread gone and why?

I would sincerely appreciate an email from the moderator who deleted it.

I deleted it.
We don't allow ebay type auctions. You need to set a selling price.
If you want to sell by auction...use ebay.
