Insults

I recently asked a mechanical question and someone wrote I should look at a book with no helpful hints. I thought the reason for the forum was to get the expert advice by experienced people who had better ideas then the sometimes vague and hard to understand wording in a book. Every question asked can be answered with go look in a book. I asked not be directed to a book and I received a lot of insults. Is there a way I can block members from my post?

If what I'm reading is correct, you seem to have been getting reasonable information about the question you asked.

Don't be uptight.

It's probaly easier and cheaper to pull the motor. Pulling the subframe adds alot of while I'm in there costs.

I saw your original post. The poster who mentioned the book, was simply pointing out that the factory service manual is helpful if you don't have it. And your question was answered a few posts later. Wow.

There is too much information to type it in a response here, hence the recommendation to get the book, which will also have diagrams or photos to illustrate the steps to guide you along the way.

The forum is here to give efficient advice. Providing you an opportunity to learn about your car is the best advice anybody in the forum can give.

I think the best advice at this point, is to make you aware of your ignorance and lack of appreciation. Once you're ready to learn, then you're ready for this forum.

LOL, the thread in question is pretty funny, as well as all these ridiculous gripes everywhere.

In my opinion James, you are acting like a 12 year old girl whose friend just took her hannah montana embroidered purse.

All these other guys are remaining super polite towards you too, im impressed by their restraint. My advice is to cinch up that training bra and stop acting like a brat.

You don't pay for this forum, its a perk provided generously by the owners of peachparts/fastlane, ect. The forum is made up of other owners who share info. You don't just demand information and flip out at a super reasonable statement.
