Question Paid Classifieds? Wheelers and Dealers?

After following for a while and eventually weighing in on the "Dealer/Not a dealer/ Dealer with Permission Controversy" I would offer a suggestion that a forum that would advertise smaller scale sales of used parts and services that do not compete directly with the products and services of Mercedesshop.com and its' related ventures could provide a valuable service for forum members. There is ample evidence that a demand for the products and services of individuals who engage in the dismantling and parting-out of MB vehicles and the like, by forum members exists. If some realistic limitations where developed and some fees established to cover the related costs forum members would benefit from access to a supply of parts and services at possibly lower costs than the market that is now basically dominated by the large industrial dismantling sector. Keeping the format simplistic combined with setting an appropriate fee structure and quantity limitations should allow a littler guy with something to offer an opportunity that would benefit everyone. Forum members would get more choices Mercedesshop.com would get more traffic/customers and more Mercedes Benz vehicles on the road cultivating more future MB owners can only be good for business. At the very least it could provide a small pure profit center for Mercedesshop.com by enhancing the use of its' existing infrastructure.

If a fee structure was developed that set levels proportionate to sales volume and advertising was time duration limited i.e. 20 items/60days/$20 only those who where successful at serving the customer would continue to be able to pay for this service. The registration of advertisers by credit card verification and the appropriate disclaimers limiting any liability of Mercedesshop.com should keep it clean.

Just a couple of thoughts that could be suggestions. Thanks to everyone responsible for all incalculable value and generosity that exist here already.

That's a good suggestion and we would be open to the idea.
