This connection is not private - iPhone won't load site

Several weeks ago I started getting this message on my phone:
https://i.postimg.cc/m2VYMX22/IMG-8542.jpg
When I would click on 'show details' it gave me the option of visiting the site now that I knew the risk.

That worked for a week or two but now loading is disallowed. On my laptop here are the words "Not secure" to the left of the address bar. Not sure if it's the same thing.

I do get that Pelican is unlikely to invest in new servers or whatever to keep me happy but I thought I should pass it along.

On your iphone or computer? At least I can log on with my computer.

Lately I only do financial stuff on my iPhone. I hope I'm not kidding myself but they seem more secure than Windows devices. In addition, I'm tired of paying $50 a year for some sort of security. I was using ESET for a long time, might be $59 now. I'm reading discussion online that Windows has its own built in security which is generally good enough. My thought is to do all my PayPal and bankcard usage on iPhone only, stay away from porno on both devices, and can the yearly web security fee.

it's because peachpart's SSL certificate expired in September and wasn't renewed.

INSIDIOUS 11-28-2023 10:04 PM

We need to pass the hat. How much is this?

savas 11-28-2023 11:44 PM

I sent an email to Pelican expressing my strong displeasure. That should do it.
