wheels & tires for sale. 16 X 8 8 hole with Pirellis

The tires are pretty used up bu they have some tread on them and the Rims are in good shape. a couple of minor curb knicks is all. I jumped the gun on Ebay and bought them for the 450 but they are just too big. I'm in NE PA. They would make a decent set of primary rims or great set of winter rims. They come with the lugs. Make me an offer.

most of the people in this forum have sl's, same as yours. you mention that you got them for your 450 but they are just too big. if they don't fit on your 450 why would anyone here want to buy them - they wont fit on any other 450, 380 or 560. or do i misundertand your post?

The 16x8 8-hole wheel is standard for the SL series beginning in 1993. I'm not sure how many years they kept this wheel.

My SL is a 92 and many owners of the 90-92 SLs switch to the 8-hole wheels to make the car appear newer.

I believe the original SL wheel for a 93 is 124-401-14-02 with an offest of ET34 (16x8)

I can't tell how far away from Atlanta you are, but I would be interested in your 4 if they were as stated above and priced right.

If I were to sell my present SL I would want to retain the 2003 SL wheels I am presently using.

The 16X8 would fit any 280,380,450,500,560. All you need is a set of 6mm spacers as I have in mine.

Sorry for such a late response, I've been away from the computer for a couple of days. It would appear that I have been corrected and that these wheels will indeed fit on a 107 SL. I would personally still be uncomfortable with these wheels & spacers. That would leave very little clearance to some rather important suspension bits. I jumped the gun and got these rims the same week as I got the SL. Had another two days gone past I would have found this site and avoided the error. The information I had previously led me to believe that I had a good chance of them fitting. Actually if you look on the tire rack web site they show a 245/50/16 fitting on the back of this car.

This added information has left me in a bit of a quandry as to what I want to do, so I'll just have to do a bit more research. 16"s would be nice but my main goal was to go bigger than 14" as there just isn't many tire options in the 14" size. I don't mind a 205 tire in the front either but having the 225 in the back would certainly give the car a bit more aggressive look and help put the power down if I ever end up with a usable first gear.

As to the rims themselves they located in eastern PA and I do get around to NY & NJ so if your interested let me know. Ebay probably is the best solution as these wheels will fit a multitude of Benzes but I thought I'd offer them here first.
