Replacing Gear Indicator

I'm not exactly sure what it's called, but i'm looking to replace the clear plastic piece that indicates what gear I'm in on a 1980 450sl. Does anyone know what it's called or where I could get one?

You mean by the gearshift lever?

Is yours really trashed or missing? If it is there, I do know those parts will clean up nicely...

There is a clear plastic cover over a black and white gauge with PRNDL on it. Is this what you mean? I replaced mine at mercedesshop.com.
