560SL Early US / Euro bumper conversion
Has anyone installed the, in my opinion, more attractive early US or European bumpers on a 560SL successfully? I made the switch on my 450 and it was a simple bolt on affair, but at a glance, I'm concerned that I may have problems with the front air dam and trunk vents that weren't present on my old car. If it requires any irreversible modification, I'll learn to love the US DOT battering rams I suppose...
While I'm on the subject, does anyone know a good place to find a pair? Adsit doesn't have any. Thanks!

In my Fazination SL book there are several pictures of 560's with the euro bumpers and front spoilers. Dunno about the trunk vent - where is it?
You can try Bob (TMC) at 410.789.7896 or Roger at atvm2@prodigy.net, Silver Star Recycling, Sun City Recyclers, etc. I have seen them from time to time on e-bay.

Good deal, looks like it'll work then... probably. Worth a shot anyway. Lost the bidding on the set Chuck pointed out (hopefully someone here won), but there will be others. Thanks for the insight and suggestions,
