roof hyd cylinders on windshield
Hello again
I priced a windshield mount roof Hyd clamp cylinder for my 99 SL500 from a dealer in Albany GA.and they informed me that the little jewel was worth $486.00 .Do I have any other option.I have look everywhere on the web . I hope I'm missing something and somebody can steer me towards an alternative.

I did an Advanced Search using "hydraulic cylinder" in the SL forum only and got a number of hits pertaining to this exact problem. Many tips and part numbers.

you are right, Phillip at the auto parts store got them for $127.00 ea, $137.00 with two day delivery,it will be ready for the weekend,I'm in Florida the hurri... sunshine state,convertible weather almost all year round
