Rear end screech making right turns
Hello, new to the fourm. I recently acquired 1983 380sl with 86k. Runs great except for a screech out of the rear end with hard right hand turns. Seems to occur when the right side of the car elevates. Any ideas right off the bat. I appreciate the help. This fourm is fantastic. Thanks

Check your motor mounts and tranny mount first. Then check the frame mounts. My SL would make a buzzing sound when I made left u-turns, turned out to be the mounts. Good luck!

found the problem
Thanks for the input. I found the problem the other day. One of the links to the rear stabilizer had broken allowing the arm to grate against the axle on turns. Easy fix replace the links.

I am glad you found the problem. A friend discovered the exact same problem on his car.
