Keys locked in car
So I dropped off my baby, an '88 560sl, at the indie shop to have a couple of small things fixed. And, since I work far away and wouldn't be able to pick it up until after they close, the guy said he'd leave it parked outside and I could slide a check under their office door. I said sure. I could grab another key from home, but how was he going to lock the car and leave the key inside? He said don't worry.
Sure enough, when I got there, the keys were locked inside along with my paperwork. Any ideas how he did it? |

Here's how..
On "older" cars, you could manually lock the driver door from the inside, press the inside lock for the passenger side, lift the handle while shutting the door. and voila! I am unsure however is this applies to the 88 SL.. it does to most cars of that era.
