I was fortunate to have access to a workshop with sheet metal working tools however it would not be practical (nor I suggest economical) for me to manufacture the panels, especially considering I am based in Australia and most forum members are elsewhere. The panel I fabricated also only suits the 107 series whereas others may want something different to suit an M116 or 117 in their W108, 109, 111 or 116. it is also possible they may need a panel with a slightly different diameter pipe dependent upon the available diameter flexible hose in their market.

Having said this, I have included a PDF file in the thread showing a dimensioned drawing of the panel I fabricated. I'm sure those wanting to duplicate one could take a copy of this drawing to any small sheet metal shop or anyone with basic sheet metal skills and have one fabricated. Even with only basic home workshop facilities it would be possible to fabricate something similar. Since most of the strength in the panel is due to the folded edges, only light guage aluminium (even lighter than that which I used) or very light guage steel is required which allows the use of simple hand tools.
