1973 450SLC Euro, interested?

I found a 1973 350SLC Euro for sale locally. It needs paint and tires. It has been in storage for 10 years. The interior is totally new and the drive train is good. The car has around 170,000 miles. It is a euro spec, equipped with the proper bumpers and lights, etc. I can get the car for $1,700. I don’t really want another SLC to have, however do you all think it might be worth more than that in parts? Or is anyone here interested? If I buy it and invest $2000 to get it in presentable condition, what do you think the value would be?

slc's are not worth it. Simply because people would rather have the sl.

If it's a 4-speed stick, that's a good price for a car that's been sitting 10 years. If it's automatic, then the price is too high.

If it can be cleaned up and prettified w/o welding or paint, then perhaps a realy pretty car would be 2k-4k. -CTH
